Trade testing and medical coordination

For skilled roles we arrange a hands-on trade test against the trade written in the employer’s demand letter, and we time the GCC medical so it does not expire before the visa issues. For Saudi Arabia, occupations notified by Takamol require the Skill Verification Program assessment, run in Pakistan with NAVTTC.

What We Coordinate

What we coordinate

Two checks decide whether a candidate can travel: a verified skill and a fit medical result.

Trade match. We check that the trade on your booking matches the employer’s demand letter β€” a mismatch is the most common avoidable delay in the whole file.

Saudi skill verification. For notified occupations, help with trade selection and scheduling on the Takamol Skill Verification Program portal. NAVTTC publishes the fee; confirm it on the official page before you pay anyone.

Practical trade tests. Hands-on testing for skilled roles, assessed against the standard the job requires on site. Employers may attend, or ask for video of the test for critical trades.

GCC medical. Booking through Wafid at a centre accredited by the Gulf Health Council, timed against the visa so you are not screened β€” and charged β€” twice.

Sequencing

Why the order matters

A trade test taken before the employer’s demand is confirmed can leave you certified for an occupation nobody is currently recruiting. A medical taken too early can expire before the visa issues. We schedule both against a confirmed demand letter.

The medical criteria are published by the Gulf Health Council. Uncontrolled hypertension and uncontrolled diabetes are listed as unfit; having either condition under control is not in itself an unfitness case. That is a description of the regulation, not medical advice.

FAQ

Testing questions

Does every worker need the Saudi trade test?
No. NAVTTC states that skill verification is mandatory only for candidates going to Saudi Arabia in occupations notified by Takamol. If your occupation is not on the list, no verification certificate is needed for that route.

Does passing the trade test mean I have a job?
No. It verifies a skill you already have. It is not training and it is not a job offer β€” a real job needs an employer’s demand letter behind it.

Who pays for the trade test?
That depends on what the employer set out in the demand letter.

Not sure your trade is on the list?

Send us your trade and experience. We reply within one business day β€” in English, Urdu or Arabic. Our Rawalpindi office is open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
