There is no shortage of adverts for Saudi Arabia jobs for Pakistani workers. On social media, in newspapers and on shop windows, the offers are everywhere. The hard part is not finding a vacancy. It is telling a real one from an advert designed to collect fees for a job that does not exist.

Every genuine Saudi job leaves a paper trail you can check before you pay anything. Here are seven signs to look for, and where real vacancies come from in the first place.
Where real Saudi Arabia jobs for Pakistani workers come from
A genuine vacancy starts with a Saudi employer that needs workers and has the visa allocation to bring them. The employer issues a demand letter to a licensed Pakistani agency, stating the occupation, the number of workers, the salary and the contract length. Only then does recruitment start.
In Pakistan, that recruitment is done by Overseas Employment Promoters licensed by the Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment, or by the government’s own Overseas Employment Corporation. Under the Emigration Ordinance 1979, promoters need prior permission to advertise jobs abroad. A genuine advert should therefore identify the licensed promoter behind it.
7 signs that Saudi Arabia jobs for Pakistani workers are real
1 — The employer has a name
“A reputed company in Riyadh” is not an employer. A real offer names the company, and a licensed agency can show you the demand letter it came from.
2 — The agency is on the government list
Search the agency’s name and licence number on the BEOE list of Overseas Employment Promoters. Our guide to a licensed recruitment agency shows the other checks worth running.
3 — The visa matches the job
Saudi Arabia expects the profession on your work permit to match the work you actually do. An offer for a welding job on a visa for a different occupation causes trouble with the iqama later.
4 — The salary is a number, not an adjective
“Attractive salary” is advertising. A real offer states a basic salary in riyals, per month, in a written contract. Our guide to Saudi Arabia labour salary explains what else the contract should state.
5 — The trade test is the official one
For occupations Saudi Arabia has notified, skills are verified through the Skill Verification Program trade test, run in Pakistan with NAVTTC. NAVTTC publishes the fee itself. A “trade test” sold privately at a different price is a warning sign.
6 — The medical is at an approved centre
The GAMCA medical is booked through the official system and done at an approved centre. An agency that offers to “arrange” a fitness result is offering something it cannot lawfully deliver.
7 — You register with the Protector before you fly
Every worker going abroad through a licensed promoter is registered with the Protector of Emigrants. An offer that skips that step, or that asks you to travel on a visit visa and look for work on arrival, is not one of the genuine Saudi Arabia jobs for Pakistani workers.
Which trades are hiring
The clearest public signal of where formal hiring is concentrated is the list of occupations Saudi Arabia has built skills verification for. Our guide to the skilled trades Saudi Arabia is hiring groups them into eight families, from construction and electrical work to driving and heavy vehicles. Plant operators are in steady demand as well; see our guide for the JCB operator.
Preparing your application
Employers filling Saudi Arabia jobs for Pakistani workers choose between candidates on paper before anyone is interviewed or tested, so the way you present your experience matters. Three things make the biggest difference:
- Experience letters that name the work. “Worked as a technician” tells an employer little. “Maintained 11 kV switchgear for four years at a named company” matches a demand letter.
- Certificates in the same trade as the job. A NAVTTC or technical board certificate in the occupation you are applying for strengthens the application; one in a different trade can confuse it.
- A passport with plenty of validity left, so that the visa stage is not delayed by a renewal.
Keep copies of everything. Some documents will need attestation before the visa stage, and the documents checklist sets out which ones and where.
How long it takes
From demand letter to departure, the process runs through trade testing, the medical, visa stamping, biometrics and the Protector. Our guide to visa processing time breaks it into nine stages, and the full sequence is set out in the Saudi work visa process.
Frequently asked questions
Can I apply for Saudi Arabia jobs for Pakistani workers online?
You can send your details to a licensed promoter online, but there is no shortcut around the demand letter, medical, visa and Protector stages. Any site promising an online visa without them is not a recruiter.
Are these jobs for male workers only?
Eligibility, including whether a role is open to men or women, is set by the employer in each demand letter. Check the specific vacancy rather than assuming.
Should I pay before I see a demand letter?
No. A real vacancy can be shown to you before any money moves.
Working with a licensed promoter
Al Abbasi Enterprises has been licensed as an Overseas Employment Promoter since 1988 under licence OEP-0664-Rawalpindi. You do not have to take that on trust — check the number on the BEOE list first.
